A devilishly clever, action-packed musical comedy! Middle- aged Joe Boyd, ultimate Washington Senators fan, pro- claims he’d sell his soul if only his beloved team could win the World Series. He gets his wish and becomes a superstar, but almost loses his soul in the process because of a woman named Lola who always gets what she wants. This home-run hit boasts a catchy score filled with rousing production numbers and classics such as “Shoeless Joe from Hannibal, MO,” “You Gotta Have Heart,” and “Whatever Lola Wants.”
