The cult wine movie hit, Bottle Shock (starring Chris Pine and Alan Rickman), will be playing on one of the largest screens in Southern Oregon at the Craterian Theater in downtown Medford.

The event starts August 25th at 6:00 pm with a social wine tasting featuring several wineries from the Umpqua Valley who are participants in the World of WIne Festival. Curtains go up for Bottle Shock at 7:30 pm.

The movie costs $5 and tickets can be bought at buyRogue.com, with wine pours sold separately at the event. The movie is open to all ages, however alcohol will only be served to people 21 or older with a valid ID.

Bottle shock synopsis
The year is 1976 in the early days of California wine making. When British wine lover Steven Spurrier decides to bring a few U.S. vintages to the famous blind taste test in Paris the wine world is turned on its ear when a bottle from California winery Chateau Montelena wins the prestigious contest. Based on a true story.

We are proud to announce that our current production of To Kill a Mockingbird will play six additional shows at Medford’s Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater in the month of July.

In addition to the sold-out performance this Sunday, July 3, six added performances will go on sale tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:00 am through the Craterian Theater box office.

The added performances will take place on these dates:

ALL TICKET SALES WILL BE HANDLED THROUGH THE CRATERIAN GINGER ROGERS THEATER BOX OFFICE BEGINNING THURSDAY, JUNE 30 AT 10:00 AM.

Pre-registration is required. Please call the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater at 779-3000 to pre-register and for more info. Auditions are free and no material is required. For those cast in the production, there will be a $25 workshop fee per student to participate (payable on audition day by cash or check).
