What to Expect

The Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater is southern Oregon’s state-of-the-art community performing arts center. The facility features excellent acoustics and sightlines, an impressive array of theatrical equipment and is operated by a professional staff. The auditorium is intimate and comfortable and seats just 732 patrons, yet the stage can accommodate large national concert, dance and theatrical tours.

Dress code

There is no specific dress code for The Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater. Some events, such as the Symphony, Opera and our Broadway shows, will draw a dressier crowd. Most people enjoy dressing up to go to the theater, but you will see people wearing everything from casual to Sunday best.

Electronic Courtesy

Cameras and recording equipment are not permitted in the Auditorium and must be checked with the house manager. Please remember to turn off all pagers, watch alarms and cell phones before entering the theater.

Concessions

For most shows, the concession counter in the lobby sells snacks, sodas, beer and wine. Prices range from $1 – $4.50. Food and beverages are not allowed in the auditorium.

Children

As a courtesy to other audience members, please use discretion in bringing a young child to a performance. All children, regardless of age, are required to have tickets, and any child attending a performance should be able to sit quietly through the performance.

Lost & Found

If you’ve lost something in the theater, please call the house manager at 779-8195, ext 306.

Smoking

In accordance with state law, the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater is a non-smoking venue. This rule is strictly enforced.
