Volunteer
Our team of dedicated volunteers contributes over 7000 hours each season to the Craterian Performances Company. We are a not-for-profit organization and we could not exist without the generous support of our incredible volunteer staff.
We are accepting volunteer applications for work in four fields:
Need excellent people skills, ability to stand for extended periods, ability to climb stairs, ability to work as a team, dedication to customer service.
Sell snacks, sodas, coffee, beer and wine. Need excellent people skills, cash-handling ability, OLCC Server’s Permit (we reimburse after one year), Jackson County Food Handler’s Permit (free).
Box Office Staff (daily and at events)
Sell tickets over the phone and to walk-up customers. Need excellent people skills, good telephone personality, basic math skills, proficiency with computers (Windows). Daily shift requires a 3-hour commitment each week.
Mostly helping with bulk mailings on an as-needed basis.
All new volunteers (except those in the Miscellaneous category) will need to attend a scheduled volunteer training session before beginning work and ALL volunteers are required to attend our annual volunteer meeting each season. Volunteers accrue credits each time they work, which can then be exchanged for complimentary tickets to most of the shows presented by Craterian Performances. We also have a special thank you party and awards ceremony to honor our volunteers at the end of each season.
If you would like to apply to join our outstanding team, click here to download the volunteer application, or call Kimberly Moore at 541-779-8195 ext. 306 or you may e-mail her at kimberly@craterian.org.
